Reason for Doncaster v Exeter Bets

Doncaster’s last game of the season at Keepmoat is being billed as a promotion party, as the Yorkshire club celebrate their immediate return to League One next term. However, it could become more than that if they can beat visitors Exeter and other results go their way. They’re two points top of League Two with two games remaining, so if they win and nearest rivals Plymouth drop points, the trophy is theirs.

Admittedly, since Donny had their promotion confirmed, their form has dropped. Their last three results have been a draw and two losses, albeit to three play-off hopefuls. Their grasp on the title has lessened, but club captain James Coppinger has recently come out and said that they’re still determined to secure top spot.

The Grecians meanwhile are nestled nicely in the play-off spots. However, the League Two play-off race is one of the tightest ever – 10 clubs are still legitimately in with a chance. City sit three points above Mansfield, who lie just outside the play-off places but with an inferior goal difference.

Not only does this match pit two sides still gunning for their respective goals, but it also brings together the league’s best home side against the second-best away record. What makes the home side stand out is their ability not to lose at Keepmoat. They’ve only lost twice there all season.

Whilst two teams with everything to play for sometimes leads to them cancelling each other out, Donny should just edge this match. They have the motivation of a possible trophy and the overall team quality. Back a home win at 23/25 with 888sport. However, the Grecians will be desperate not to lose, so back the home side to edge a win. Back Donny to win by one goal at 11/4 with Bet365.
