Lewis Hamilton is the 2019 World Champion and his Mercedes team are Constructor’s Champions too. That’s official, so essentially the show is over.

Brazil Grand Prix Betting Tips Preview
The main event may be over but there are some crumbs left to sweep up, notably third place in the Driver’s Championship which could go to either Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc or Max Verstappen.
We like Max Verstappen this weekend. He was desperately unlucky not to win the Brazilian GP last year (narrowly beaten after being shunted off the track by a back marker) and the young Dutchman was exceptional here in 2016
He has also registered two ‘Fastest Laps’ around this circuit during four visits. For the second consecutive race weekend we think he can finish on the podium and he might just collect the fastest lap award too.
He could well be embroiled in a game of cat and mouse with Ferrari’s Vettel and Leclerc (all trying to secure third in the driver’s standings). When this happens his Red Bull team tend to take two pit-stops and, vitally, the last pit stop meaning Max Verstappen will have fastest and freshest tyres towards the end of the race
Max Finishers Too
Every year, as the season winds to a close, F1 car reliability tends to be good as mechanical issues have been ironed out and breakdowns are rare.
And, as this Sao Paulo circuit has a very long flat-out section of 1,220 metres where all the overtaking is done, there is little reason to expect race ending collisions and/or many non-finishers. Consequently going ‘high’ on finishing numbers looks a prudent F1 bet on Sunday.
Perez for Points
Sergio Perez finishing in a points paying position (a top-10) is another big play for us.
His Racing Point car has the same Mercedes engine as Lewis Hamilton but wasn’t performing anything remotely like it in the early part of the season.
Balance issues were blamed for a string of poor performances but since the Belgian GP at the start of September the team have got their act together and the Mexican driver has finished in the top-10 of six races (from the subsequent seven) and there is no reason for this good run to come to an end.
