England manager Gareth Southgate made eight changes to his starting line-up for England’s last group game against Belgium, so they should certainly be fresher than a Colombian team that was given a severe test by a spirited Senegal before Yerry Mina’s second-half headed goal gave them a somewhat fortuitous 1-0 victory.

In addition, World Cup 2014 Golden Boot winner James Rodriguez is a major doubt for the Colombians and will require an MRI scan on a calf problem after playing just 30 minutes against the Senegalese and missing a training session on Friday.
Barcelona-based Mina and Tottenham Hotspur’s Davinson Sanchez make up a hugely promising central defensive partnership for the Colombians, but their inexperience can lead to mistakes and Sanchez’s White Hart Lane teammate, Harry Kane, is a man in the sort of form to take advantage. At best odds of 3/1 (4.00) with bet365* to be the First Goalscorer, Harry Kane could be worth a small bet.

England will need to be on their game against a Colombian team not lacking in quality, but there is a growing confidence and assuredness about the Three Lions that suggests that they will be staying in Russia at least a little longer.
England are betting odds of 23/20 to win the game in the 90 minutes with BetStars and given their extra freshness and the doubts surrounding Colombia’s star player, even if he is passed fit, that looks a decent bet.

IF England beat Colombia tomorrow night, the quarter final vs. Sweden/Switzerland will be at 3pm on Saturday.
