In the match at Carrow Road, the Blues went two goals in front in the first half, before the home side pulled one back after the break. The Blues held onto the points however. In the reverse fixture, the Londoners dominated but only won 1-0 thanks to a Diego Costa goal.

6 – Pedro was involved in six goals in Chelsea’s FA Cup run to the final last season
Norwich City v Chelsea Team News
Alex Pritchard, James Maddison and Alex Tettey all made successful returns from injury against Millwall last week, and they should start again for the Canaries. There’s still a doubt over Southampton loanee Harrison Reid, who missed that match and will likely be out again.
Antonio Conte will likely ring the changes once more after his side’s midweek league match against Arsenal. Eden Hazard, Tiémoué Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata could all sit this one out.
Reason for Norwich City v Chelsea Bets
The Canaries finished in 8th position last season, just missing out on the Championship playoffs, but this term they’re struggling for consistency. They currently sit in 13th place, nine points off the much-desired playoff zone. They’re on a three-game unbeaten run in the league, coming from a goal down to beat Millwall last time out 2-1. They were impressive in that match, but they haven’t fared well at home against the better sides in the league; they lost at Carrow Road to the league’s current top two Derby and Wolves.
They face a Chelsea side in impressive form, although it’s likely Conte will ring the changes. The Italian may choose to rest the likes of Morata, Hazard and Bayakoko, but it didn’t affect them too much when they thrashed Stoke 5-0 recently. Conte did the same last season, playing almost a second string in the FA Cup but still making it to the final at Wembley.
The home side will likely up their game for this one. Playing in front of their home fans in one of their season’s champagne fixtures, you can expect them to give the Blues a decent match. They’re not a bad side after all, but still expect the steely champions to come out winners. You can back an away win at 1/2 with Betway. The home side will likely hold their own in the first half, as they’ll be highly motivated from the off, so a second-half winner is on the cards for the Blues. Back a draw at half-time and then Chelsea at full-time at 3/1 with MarathonBet.
