Premier League Darts Week 4 Tips for Dublin
The Premier League Darts action comes from Dublin, Ireland this Thursday with William O’Connor being the guest player representing the home nation.
Below is all our Premier League Darts Week 4 tips…
— PDC Darts (@OfficialPDC) February 20, 2020
Glen Durrant vs Nathan Aspinall
Glen Durrant may be topping the Premier League table (with two wins and a draw) but statistically he has not been outstanding with a highest tournament checkout of just 107 and only five registered 180’s.
Nathan Aspinall accounted for MVG last week which is obviously no mean fete and with better stats all-round – including a 170 checkout – looks the one to bet on at a top price of 11/8 (2.38) with SpreadEx.
Rob Cross vs Gary Anderson
This duo are proving very unpredictable (a win, a draw and a loss apiece in the competition so far). Its noteworthy Cross has won a remarkable 8 legs against throw and that makes him really interesting ‘in play’.
Our best darts bet here is head to the Betfair Exchange and trade this one leg-by-leg and it could have plenty of twists and turns.
Daryl Gurney vs Michael Smith
Gurney has been in dire form and his stats in this competition are woeful. A highest checkout of just 80, thirty-percent on his finishing and just five 180’s.
On this kind of form you would have a good pub player against him and you have to fancy Michael Smith will dismantle him here.
The ‘Most 180’s, Highest Checkout and Win’ treble looks on here and looks a live darts bet at 4/1 with Betfred.
William O’Connor vs Michael van Gerwen
This should be a walk in the park for MVG but he is still yet to win a tournament in 2020 and was beaten in two more Players Championships at the weekend (that’s six in total now).
We suspect he will not pound the treble 20 here, something he keeps back for big rivals and big matches, once again specialising in treble-19’s which he did throughout most of the World Championship.
With just eight 180’s during the first three weeks of the 2020 Premier League going under the Total 180’s line of 5.50 at 10/11 (1.91) with Betfair might not be a bad bet.
Gerwyn Price vs Peter Wright
Two players in sparkling form. On Saturday Peter ‘Snakebite’ Wright played seven Players Championship matches and averaged 100+ in six of them (including a whopping 120 in one). He won that competition and 24 hours later Gerwyn Price took a title beating MVG in the final.
You can expect a high scoring game here which could easily go a full 12 legs. Consequently we are recommending the Over 6.5+ match 180’s at Skybet’s offer of 6/5 (2.20).
In Summary: Premier League Darts Week 4 Tips
– Nathan Aspinall to beat Glen Durrant at 11/8 (2.38) with SpreadEx
– Cross vs Anderson – Trade on Betfair (ideally laying both at circa 1.55)
– Michael Smith to beat Daryl Gurney at 6/5 (2.20) with Betway
– Michael Smith to Win Match, Most 180’s and High Checkout at 4/1 (5.00) with Betfred
– William O’Connor & Michael van Gerwen – Under 5.5 180’s at 10/11 (1.91) with Betfair
