Free tips Formula One: Turkish Grand Prix Betting Tips & Predictions (Friday to Sunday)
Will the F1 Bookies Play Chicken in-Running in Turkey?
Formula 1 pays its first visit to Turkey since 2011 this weekend. Keep on scrolling to find all our Turkish Grand Prix betting tips below.
That last Formula 1 race here in Turkey featured the greatest recorded number of pit-stops and overtaking manoeuvres in a dry race in F1 history. Unquestionably a very exciting track with high tyre-wear, medium downforce levels, over 60 percent racing at ‘full throttle’ and a straight which is over 1km long means Sunday’s race should be a thriller.

It is 8/15 with BetVictor about a Safety Car being needed in this weekend’s race.
Lewis Hamilton is 2/5 favourite to win this race which, considering some calamity is possible, is pretty unattractive.
Much better value, if you like an odds-on shot is Sergio Perez to finish in the top-6. The Mexican driver is ultra-consistent and has finished in the top-10 (a points finish) in all of his last 17 race starts.
His Racing Point team-boss, Otmar Szafnauer, was quoted this week as saying: “We believe our car is well suited to Turkey, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, so we expect to be strong in all four of the remaining races of the season. It’s down to us now to maximise the performance potential of our package and secure solid points in all of the remaining races.”
Given Szafnauer’s optimism the stand-out top price of 5/2 with Genting Bet about his second driver, Lance Stroll, to finish in the top-6 looks the best bet of the weekend. He’s finished in the top-6 four times this season, it’s a great record given he’s had a lot of bad luck and completed just eight races.
Turkish Grand Prix Betting Tips
– Top-6 Race Finish: Sergio Perez at 11/20 with 888sport
– Top-6 Race Finish: Lance Stroll 5/2 with Genting Bet
Otmar Szafnauer is of the view that all of the remaining tracks suits Racing Point and that they will have to maximise in the fight for P3.

VSC a Fancy
Our idea of a ‘Next Best’ (nb) is a ‘Virtual Safety Car’ (VSC) being used. This proposition is 5/4 with bet365*.
Given the incidents we are expecting and the high tyre-wear, which could easily lead to a puncture and see debris left on the racing line, a ‘safety’ interruption of some kind looks inevitable and with a full safety car normally preceded by a VSC this price looks very wrong.
