Bubba Watson has form and pedigree to claim third Masters title
The first golf Major of the year gets underway with the US Masters 2018 tournament taking place between 5th and 8th April at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. It’s one of the best golf tournaments of the year so read on for Betfinder’s US Masters betting tips for 2018.
Sergio Garcia won last year in a play-off against Justin Rose after finishing at nine-under-par and can be backed at 28-1 with Betway for anyone who anticipates the Spaniard pulling off back-to-back wins at Augusta. Rose is 14-1 with William Hill.
Our Recommended Masters 2018 bets:
Masters 2018 winner – Bubba Watson @ 16/1 with BetVictor
Masters 2018 each-way – Alex Noren @ 45/1 with 888sport (6 places)
So who will win the US Masters golf in 2018?
There are plenty of big name players in decent form coming into this Masters event. Bubba Watson (Genesis Open and WGC – Dell Technologies Match Play title), Phil Mickelson (WGC- Mexico Championship), Rory McIlroy (Arnold Palmer Invitational), Justin Thomas (The Honda Classic) and Paul Casey (Valspar Championship) have all recently won tournaments.
Tiger Out Of The Woods?
The Augusta National is certainly the course best suited to Woods in terms of the Majors and he will be returning to play his first Masters in three years and seeking his fifth green jacket after missing 12 of the most recent 27 major championships because of injury.
Tiger Woods Betting Offer
The reason for the renewed belief in Woods is that, after numerous failed comebacks, he now seems to be back in good health (both physically and mentally) and he has finally been able to show the kind of form of which he is capable, having finished 12th (Honda Classic), 2nd (Valspar Championship) and tied 5th (Arnold Palmer Invitational) in his last three events.

Those that believe Woods is destined for his 15th Major (and his first in a decade) at Augusta can back him in the Masters 2018 outright betting at 12-1 with LeoVegas. At those odds, it would appear that there is little value in Woods at this stage.
Another Augusta specialist is Jordan Spieth. The 24 year-old Texan was tied 11th in last year’s Masters, a commendable enough effort in itself, but previously finished tied 2nd in 2014, won by four strokes in 2015 and again tied 2nd in 2016.
Spieth has had some issues with his putting, but certainly has to be included in any US Masters betting shortlist of potential winners of the tournament. The 2018 Masters betting has Jordan Spieth available at 14/1 with BetFred.
Bank on Bubba at a tasty 16/1
Given his early season form and that he is a two-time winner at Augusta, Bubba Watson has to be one of the favourites to win the 2018 US Masters. Bubba loves the course, which is well known to favour ‘lefties’. He can be backed at 16-1 with BetVictor. Hopefully we will be dancing all the way to the bank with Bubba…

Another southpaw, Phil Mickelson, already has three Masters titles to his name and is another definite contender for the title at 20/1 with William Hill.
If looking for a bit of each-way value in the 2018 US Masters betting, then Sweden’s Alex Noren could be worth a cheeky golf bet. He’s already secured two third-place finishes and a runner-up cheque this season and can be backed at 45-1 with 888sport.
